Refurbishment works - Oke Squash Club

Hi all,

Just to let you know that there is refurbishment works scheduled for the squash club over the next few weeks. Therefore, it is realistic to expect that there will be some disruption at the courts whilst the work is going on. Our expectation is that the works will take place during the day, but it is realistic to expect some dust etc.

If you notice dust etc. on the courts it would be great if you could help us during this time by giving them a quick sweep or hoover so we can keep on top of it.

The works will involve:

- Improving the upstairs area - by opening it up slightly and combining the old OCRA office with the old gym area into a single 'social' space. Our aim is to have a sofa, coffee machine etc. in there for members to use (please watch out for future emails for volunteers to help paint and spruce up the area!!)

- We will update the old gym equipment with more modern 'near new' items - again for members to use

- We are going to remove the old hot water tank and move to more energy efficient electric showers in both the male and female shower areas. Therefore, please expect disruption in both changing rooms.

Apologies for any inconvenience at this time but hopefully this will lead to much improved club facilities, and we will continue to aim to invest in further improvements.
