Why Okehampton Squash Club?
Dedicated Facilities: Our two courts are of a good standard and suitable for players at all levels. Our courts provide a safe environment for you to hone your skills.
Affordability: Our annual membership fee is intentionally kept low to attract new and existing members to the club. This means that squash is an affordable game to play.
Expert Coaching: Elevate your game with a coach who visits the club and provides group coaching sessions. Individual or small group sessions can also be organised. From refining your technique to building confidence in your game, our coach will help develop your game.
Squash Community: Okehampton Squash & Racketball Club is building back a community of squash players. Connect with fellow players and establish new friendships whilst getting some great exercise!!
Events and Tournaments: We are develolping a schedule of events and tournaments which aim to encourage members to play each other. This will include handicap competitions, a weekly open club night, internal box ladders. Challenge yourself against different opponents.
Racketball: As well as squash, you can also play racketball on the courts. Racketball is an easier game to pick up, easier on the joints, with rallies tending to last longer - but at the same time providing a great cardio workout.
Fitness and Wellness: Squash & Racketball are not just games; they are fantastic workouts - the original HIT sessions!! Boost your fitness levels, improve agility, and boost cardio health as you engage in the fast-paced action on our courts. It's a fun and effective way to stay in shape.
